On Friday 17th February 2006 the 20th BARF Aid convoy since 1997 left Dover heading for Bosnia Herzegovina. This was the third trip in which Conquest Wildman have contributed, and on this occasion we are most grateful to our sponsors who donated funds to cover our costs on the convoy. Because of additional, unexpected donations of fuel along the way, the cost of this trip has been significantly reduced so the amount raised by our customers will also go towards funding our costs in the next convoy, planned for October 2006.

Despite not being able to deliver as much aid as a four vehicle convoy normally would because of a new VAT system introduced in Bosnia at the beginning of this year, the trip was still a great success, and we now know exactly how to handle the VAT situation so as future convoys can go back to full strength, delivering between 5 and 10 tonnes of aid per trip.
