Most
users of the Windows operating systems are familiar with
Windows Update, which scans your computer for outdated system
files and lets you replace them with the most recent versions.
While Windows Update still works to keep your operating
system up to date, Microsoft has introduced a similar system
for their other software called Microsoft Update. Essentially
this does the same job but for programmes such as Microsoft
Office, Front Page and Publisher.
To access this new feature, visit Microsoft.com or launch
Windows update from your start menu and when the website
opens select Microsoft Update to install the software. You
can then run a scan to get the latest updates for any Microsoft
product you may have and even set it to automatically check
and install updates in the future. It’s the best way
to keep abreast of the latest programme fixes and security
enhancements for you Microsoft products
